Even though we only live 5 minutes away, today was our first trip to the Old City with some of our classmates and with that here is our top 5:

1. Walking through the outdoor Mamilla Mall (which includes spiritually inducing stores like The North Face Store, The Body Shop and our favorite, the Crocs store) to get to the Old City.

2. Asking all of the Free Tour tour guides found on every corner if they know our intern Scott.  They don’t.

3. Rewriting the history of Ancient Israel to include the final battle between Jesus and Moses.

4. Wearing a long-sleeved sweater and orthodox-style skirt in 90 degree weather at the holiest place on earth.

5. Answering the security guard at the Western Wall who asked “?מה שלומך” (How are you?) with your name.
