Today is Rosh Chodesh Elul and there is a tradition to blow the shofar each day (except Shabbat), during the month of Elul, in order to awaken our souls and get us ready for the process of t’shuvah we will be going through in the next few weeks.
Each morning our classmates Allie, Jordan, and Marc will blow the shofar with Gingy (Rabbi David Wilfond). This is a video of Gingy in the FSU explaining the different sounds we make.
