It started with a simple plan: go to the Shuk…and it went downhill from there. These are the Top 5 Places We Stopped on our Way to the Shuk That Kept Us From Actually Going to the Shuk:

1. The downtown Ace Hardware - this happened mainly because everyone said it didn’t exist and we were determined to find it. We had walked by an Ace Hardware before and we were sure we could find it again….and we did! Mark this day, September 3, on your calendars as the day Molly and Bess proved Yoni wrong. Lord knows it’ll probably never happen again.

2. The art store right next to Ace Hardware - how can you pass up a good art supply store? Plus, this is where we got Allie’s birthday present, pretty Staedler pens to add to her collection.

3. Steve’s Pack - the best part of this journey was when the man at Steve’s Pack told us they discontinued purple merchandise and Molly responded by saying it was a tragedy (true). The guy cocked his head to the side, just looked at us and said, “I think there are far more tragic things in this world”.

4. Golf & Co. - new pillow for Molly! Everyone should be impressed with the self-control that was exercised at this home ware store.

5. A wooden puzzle shop - how did we even end up here? This was the point where we realized it was already 6:00 pm and we would not be making it to the Shuk today….
